Basic hero statistics

In the world of Darken Age, every hero is characterized by several basic attributes. Each one of them is important, but it is the full set of them that makes a full characteristics of a person.

Main character attributes


Damage per second (DPS)

It is an average value of all damages (physical and magical) caused by a character during one second. DPS is influenced by: attack speed, minimum and maximum damage (both physical and magical).

Inflicting magical damage may cause additional effects for the opponent:

  • ice - decreases movement and attack speed
  • poison - causes additional damage for definite time
  • fire - decreases resistance to suffered damage

Values of these statistics may be increased using items and skills.


Armor

Armor decreases physical damage suffered by a certain per cent.

Value of this attribute may be increased using items and skills.


Precision

Every character has a chance to execute a precision attack, also called a critical attack. Critical hit leads to inflicting double (in the case of a Warrior and a Wizard), or even triple (in the case of a Hunter) damage.

Both the success chance of an attack, and the damage value may be increased using items and skills.


Dodge

Increases the chance to evade damage inflicted by an enemy. Currently Warrior, Wizard and Hunter start the game with 5% evasion chance.

Value of this attribute may be increased using items and skills.


Magical resistances

They cause a significant decrease in magical damage, as well as in negative effects for a character, caused by magic.

Values of these statistics may be increased using items and skills.
